Welcome to the Center for Spiritual Care in Vero Beach, Florida

Meet our Staff:

Lori Ferrell--Executive Director

Lori and her husband Pete met at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky, and then spent 2004-2014 working and living in Southeast Asia. After reaching burnout they made an intentional decision to take a Sabbatical year in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 2013-2014. Lori began meeting with a spiritual director, read Surrender to Love by David Benner and regularly walked her favorite labyrinth in Chiang Mai—all of this marking a significant turning point in her life towards healing and wholeness. This was a life-changing season which led Pete and Lori to decide to relocate their young family of four to Vero Beach in 2014.  In 2018 she completed her spiritual direction training through Selah. Her heart is cultivating and hosting sacred space to listen to the heart of those she sits with, and helping them notice Spirit’s invitation for them.

In addition to Spiritual direction training, Lori has completed Supervision training from the Companioning Center, Yoga teacher training (500 hour YTT) with the Yoga Abbey and Enneagram training from the Pax Center. She believes in and practices an embodied spirituality.

Currently Lori resides in Vero Beach, Florida with her husband, one of her two sons (one is in college!), and their dog Ruby. When she is not at the Center she enjoys soulful conversations with friends, beauty in nature, a good cup of coffee, paddle boarding and long walks.

Haleigh Landon--Office Administrator

Haleigh was born in Conyers, Georgia and moved to Vero Beach with her family in 2016. She graduated from homeschooling in 2022 with the goal of pursuing a college degree in psychology, but found that her path led her elsewhere in life. With a remaining passion for connecting with people, she grew an online gaming community to form connections with people all over the world. This desire to understand and learn more about others encouraged her into the Office Administrator position at the Center for Spiritual Care, where she is able to find a greater purpose in both her work life and spiritual life.

Haleigh married her husband in January of 2026, and they live in Vero Beach with their two dogs and three cats. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, gaming, video editing, creative writing, and tabletop role-playing games.
